We are organizing communities across Washington to hold their own local events, which are opportunities to empower people to tell legislators through postcards to prioritize funding K-12 schools. We need thousands of Washingtonians to write their lawmakers in order to make a difference! These events can also be real bake sales so communities can raise funds for their advocacy efforts!

ADVOCACY DAY IN OLYMPIA
On January 30th, 2025 communities from across Washington converged on Olympia to hold the ultimate Billion Dollar Bake Sale as part of an Advocacy Day. This was a fun way to build community and make our demands clear to the legislature:
Prevent devastating school district cuts for 2025-26
Secure at least $4 billion per year of stable long-term funding for K-12 public education
Commit to making Washington State a leader in public education
Thank you to the hundreds of students, parents, educators, and community members who attended!!
